These Terms govern your purchase and use of services from Field Manual HQ ("we," "us"). By submitting our questionnaire or completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms.
Field Manual HQ produces a customized business operating manual ("Field Manual") based on information you provide in our questionnaire. Manuals are drafted using AI-assisted technology built on established operations frameworks and delivered by email as editable digital documents, typically within 24 hours of payment. Optional subscription services ("Keep It Current") provide ongoing manual updates as described at purchase.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit. Upon full payment, you own your delivered Field Manual and may edit, reproduce, and use it freely within your business. We retain the right to use anonymized, non-identifying learnings to improve the service. We will not share your questionnaire responses or manual with third parties except the service providers who power delivery (see our Privacy Policy).
Field Manuals provide general business-operations guidance only. They are not legal, tax, accounting, employment/HR, safety, or other professional advice, and no professional-client relationship is created. Regulations vary by location and industry; you are responsible for reviewing your manual - particularly hiring, safety, and compliance-related content - with qualified professionals before relying on it. Sample figures, prices, and targets in manuals are illustrative starting points, not recommendations.
Prices are stated in U.S. dollars and charged at checkout via Stripe. Because each Field Manual is custom digital work begun promptly after purchase, all sales are final. Instead of refunds we offer the Make-It-Right promise: notify us within 14 days of delivery of anything that misses the mark, and we will rewrite the affected sections once, free of charge. Nothing in this section limits any non-excludable rights you may have under the consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction (including, for example, statutory guarantees under UK, EU, Australian, New Zealand, or Canadian law); where such laws apply, they prevail to the extent of any inconsistency. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time and end at the close of the current billing period.
Except as expressly stated in these Terms or required by applicable law, the service and all deliverables are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant any particular business outcome from use of a Field Manual.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or lost profits. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.
You agree not to misuse the service, submit information you lack the right to share, or use deliverables for unlawful purposes.
We may update these Terms; the version posted at the time of your purchase governs that purchase.
